Carlisle Glass try very hard to ensure the products featured on this website are in stock and can be delivered to you with the next working day and we are proud of our overall availability.
However, despite our best endeavours, some items may be temporarily out of stock due to either production difficulties or unexpected demand. If this is the case you will be informed as to the expected delay, and given the opportunity to wait for the goods ordered to arrive, to cancel the order, or to order the nearest possible alternative. |

We value the trust our customers have placed in us when providing personal information, and limit the collection and use to maintain the highest level of service to our customers.
| Purpose of this Policy |

This policy outlines:
- what personal information we collect and how it is collected during the course of running our business;
- what we do with any personal information received; and,
- how we ensure that this information is treated in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act.
| Information Collected |
At all times there is no obligation for our customers to provide us with personal information – unless it is a necessary requirement to fulfil an order or to provide another customer service function. Customer delivery and contact details are stored and purchase history details may also be collected.
| Use of Information Collected |
All information Carlsle Glass collects through the course of normal business dealings remains confidential. Longhorn does not disclose personal information to any other organisations – unless the owner of that information has given their consent. We only use the information for processing orders or for internal marketing purposes – which may include:
- fulfilment of orders;
- statistical analysis of customer shopping habits, interests, and preferences;
- analysis of relevance of our special offers and promotions and sending information about these promotions and products including sending information by e-mail providing the customers consent has been given for this service.

Longhorn takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that any personal information received is kept confidential. For delivery of orders placed through our website, it is necessary to disclose some personal information to third parties such as delivery contractors. |
| Website and E-mail |
We fully understand that when shoppers visit our website they may not wish to register as a member. We obviously respect this and leave membership fully optional, and have built the site to make it as easy as possible to be removed from any mailing lists on request. We do not send any unsolicited emails and every email sent provides an opportunity to be removed from further emailing. The Longhorn website uses “cookies” which are small amounts of information stored on the user’s computer by our web site server. These “cookies” identify the user’s browser but they do not identify the user personally and no sensitive information is stored within the Longhorn website “cookies”. Our website uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology at the checkout section, to protect your credit card details and other information. A padlock/key is displayed either in the lower right hand corner or top bar of the user's screen when the SSL technology is in action - indicating a secure site. We do not encourage (and in fact advise against) sending any sensitive information by email, as information sent by email is not encrypted and therefore not a secure mode of transmission. |

1. Where the law requires a minimum age limit for the purchase of specific goods, you confirm that you are over the required age limit and that delivery will be accepted by a person over the required age limit.
2. We reserve the right to cancel your order if we reasonably believe you are not legally entitled to order certain goods.

| Delivery & Title |
1. Unless you order and collect the goods from one of our trade counters, we will deliver them in accordance with your order. A valid signature will be required on collection or delivery. In the unlikely event that you have not received all the goods within the stated delivery time, you must notify us immediately. You must not schedule or commence any installation work until after you have received your order and checked all the goods for any defects or missing parts.
2. For reasons of health and safety and to avoid any property damage, most 'Big Stuff' items can only be delivered to a ground floor location at the delivery address. You must therefore make your own arrangements at your own risk if the relevant item needs to be transported from the delivery location.
3. Upon delivery of the goods to you, the goods shall be at your risk. In spite of delivery having been made, title in the goods shall not pass to you until you have paid the price for the goods in full and no other sums whatsoever shall be due to us from you. Until title in the goods passes from us, you shall hold the goods on a fiduciary basis as bailee and shall store the goods at your own cost separately from all other goods in your possession and marked in such a way that they are clearly identified as our property.
4. We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limiation, strikes, lockouts and outher industrial disputes).
5. We shall have no liability to you unless you notify us within 10 working days of the delivery (or expected delivery) of goods in question.
| Cancellation & Returns |
1. You may cancel your order by giving us notice of cancellation within 30 days of the date of delivery to you or collection from a trade counter. Such notice may be given by phone, mail, fax or email. If you are cancelling because of any problem with the goods, please notify us of the problem at the time of cancellation.
2. On cancellation for whatever reason, you must return the goods to us at your cost unless we agree that you may dispose of them in which case please comply with the manufacturer’s instructions before disposing of hazardous goods. Where the goods are being returned because they are faulty, incorrect goods or because of unsuitable substitution by us, we will meet the cost of return but we ask that you allow us to nominate the carrier.
3. Unwanted items returned for refund or exchange, for whatever reason, will be subject to a re-stocking charge.
